W. J. Harper is a mom, grandmom, author, child of a King and advocate for those who are less fortunate. Her nonprofit, Secret Angels, is dedicated to helping others anonymously in hopes that they will see God and not her. Her soon-to-be released cookbook, The Empty Belly Cookbook will help her fund activities for Secret Angels as well as her ministry, Feed My Sheep.
Her Faith
I did have a Father, He was a King and He loved me more than I could comprehend. I realized that by birthright, I’m royal. I’m regal! No longer am I ashamed to be me. No longer will I allow people to take advantage of me and treat me any kind of way.
“Nor give place to the devil”

This Word cautions you to be so consistent, trustworthy and loyal to your God that you surrender no ground to the enemy. A hard core militant attitude.
As a Believer you have the ability to make forward progress without ever losing ground. You can be assured that God is at your side, fighting with you. For a Believer there’s no turning back.
You won’t fall for old tricks. Tell the enemy NOT today Silly Rabbit. Tricks are for the spiritual Slow!
Her Ministry
I begin sharing the Word of God through text messaging. These messages took off more than I ever imagined. People suggested that I make theses daily devotionals into a book and to that I said, “Yeah ok,” but didn't take it seriously – that is until my publisher called the wrong number one day and we began to talk about a book. I knew it was God's will that these messages be shared on a broader scale. On top of this, her business was a faith based business!
What further proof could I ask for?
Every account I’ve come across in the bible regarding angels taking on human form have been men. Some big in stature or normal size. Why men? They even had to tell people not to bow down to them. Other people were terrified.
Can you imagine seeing huge warrior women angels appearing to you? That would be pretty scary too.

Her Writing
These devotionals came about unknowingly while meeting with the Lord every day at the same time of day; usually when my grandchildren were at school. During such times, I would keep notes in a journal.
God let me know that people understood He is God, but my particular messages were to make people understand who they are in Christ and how to stand tall – 365 days of the year!

Sanctify the through thy TRUTH”
Sanctify = Holy and set apart.
Child of God, the TRUTH sets you apart from the world. You are not comfortable with the things of this world. Know you make them nervous as well.
Upon creation, one of the first things God did was to separate light from dark.
Don’t forget I Pet. 2:9 says we too were called out of darkness into his marvelous light.
In fact, you are the Light of the world!
Her Legacy
I began to learn how much God loved me and what He made me powerful and capable of on this earth through Him. This was very important to me because my mother deserted me and during that time, no one knew where my father was.
I later learned that he had tried to get in touch with me, but was incarcerated at the time. He wrote me letters but I wasn’t allowed to read them.
The rest of my family seemed to go out of their way to let me know how unattractive I was and that I wasn’t smart enough to accomplish anything in life. I was also very shy in school and around other people.
It wasn’t until my adult life where I learned that the Word said differently.
“I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock”
Matthew 7:24
Position yourself for blessings NOW. Don’t wait until something happens before seeking His face. Start building the foundation of your house NOW. It’s never too early to pray for children or to find that Godly mate. While you are healthy or before your money dries up, build that relationship with the Lord NOW!
The enemy will try to make you feel too guilty to come to your Father, because you haven’t sought after Him lately.
Shut the door and create a time and place just for Him.
